Saya accidentally meets a handsome cellist.

Kai has come to pick up Saya who witnesses an incredible scene: her sister covered with blood is fighting with a sword against a creature beyond any description.

The memory of that terrible night is fading away: not a trace is left, and a brand new desk is placed in the biology room, as if nothing had happened.

George is seriously injured and is taken to the emergency ward.

David and his group go after George, who had been taken away by the U.S. military, when they learn that there is a secret facility in Yanbaru. Perhaps George is there. When Kai hears this, he asks if he can go along as well, however...

Saya and her team infiltrate the Yanbaru laboratory.

Riku learns of Geroge's death while leaving Okinawa. Shocked, he locks himself up in his room. Kai tries to comfort him but Riku does not respond. Saya blames herself for George's death. Hagi hands Saya a dagger and tell her to keep fighting to recover her past. In the meantime, Okamura, the reporter of the Ryukyu Daily finds an empty box of Bordeaux wine at an industrial waste disposal.

Saya is enrolled in a French school in Vietnam that was associated with the wine found at the military base, while Hagi goes undercover as a gardener. Not long after getting there Saya learns from her talkative roommate that the phantom at the school kidnaps girls that look similar to Saya. After investigating some more Saya is led to the bell tower where she comes face to face with the phantom.

When Saya goes to her classroom in the morning, she finds a blue rose. This creates a stir among the students because of the "Legend of the Phantom." Saya and Hagi goes to the rose garden next to the cathedral where blue roses are rumored to be blooming. They find a staircase in a shack leading to the underground...

A ball is held once a year at the school. Students and their parents in formal dresses and attires start to gather in the cafeteria where the ball is about to begin. Saya appears in a dress that she borrowed from Min. Saya meets a young man by the name of Solomon. He asks Saya to dance with him. While they dance David finally reaches the entrance to the basement hidden by the blue rose bushes.

Saya and the others go after the container carrying Diva that was transported out of the school. The operational unit of the Red Shield, Clara, Spencer, Rogers and McCoy, joins the pursuit.

Saya is surrounded by chiropteran children at the experiment farm of Cinq Fleche Pharmaceutical. Saya hears mysterious humming and roaring of the chiropterans. The smell of blood almost suffocates her and drive her out of control. Saya starts slashing everyone in sight, enemy or friends. What stopped her was Kai's calling out to her.

Saya and the others briefly return to Okinawa. They try to take advantage of a day of rest. Saya, Kai and Riku bury George's momento in the family grave. Saya also meet up with her best friend, Kaori, in Yaejima Park.

Mao gets frustrated for not being able to see Kai and she feels left out. Okamura, the Ryukyu Daily reporter, cannot forget about the sight he witnessed in the wine barrel storage at the school in Vietnam. He wants to find Saya to solve the mystery of that scene. Mao wants to pursue Kai. Two people with the same goal and different motives meet...

Saya and the others take the Trans-Siberian Railroad with Elizabeta, a Russian Red Shield agent. They are attacked by chiropterans.

After Riku falls of the train, Saya jumps off after him in attempt to save him. Now she is caught in a blizzard and collapses. While she is passed out, Saya dreams of her past and when she and Hagi were in Russia back in the 1920s. While looking for a man named Gregory, they meet a girl named Sonia. Though Sonia is an ordinary girl, there is more to her then meets the eye.

David looks for a defected scientist.

Liza questions Saya about her intentions.

David and the others arrive at the headquarters of the Red Shield. They get checked for possible chiropteran reactions or (infections). Kai finds out some shocking truth from "Joel's diary".

Okamura and Mao arrive in France.

Saya visits ruins of Joel's mansion known as "The Zoo". It is covered with overgrown grass and only a portion of the exterior walls is standing. Saya recalls her first encounter with Hagi here in her previous life, what happened to Hagi on the birthday of Joel, the founder of "The Zoo and the burning image of the mansion.

Finally Saya confronts Diva. The memory of the tragic event that took place at Joel's birthday stars to come back to Saya.

Okamura and Mao arrive at the Zoo only to find a broken sword left behind. Saya and the others return to the Red Shield HQ with the wounded Riku. Riku barely escapes death after a blood transfusion from Saya. While watching Riku who reamins unconscious, Saya questions herself if it was the right thing to give her blood to Riku.
