Mitch is left heartbroken when his ex-wife, Gayle arrives at his house with her new fiance, a wealthy businessman. And she expresses her wish to have Hobbie in her custody to give him a good future. But Mitch has conflicting emotions about his ex-wife remarrying again and having to let go of his son.

The Baywatch coastguards team up with Mitch in a bid to save Hobie and Gayle from the submerged plane before they run of air to breathe. Meanwhile, Hobie manages to stay calm in the face of the disaster and tends to his mothers need as she lay unconscious inside the plane submerged underwater.

Hobie falls head over heels for a terminally ill junior lifeguard girl name Lauren during the junior lifeguard training camp. He takes her to a part of the beach known as the lover's cove in an attempt to win her affection.

John D Cort returns to Baywatch to become a lifeguard again and tries to reignite his relationship with his ex-girlfriend CJ Parker. But CJ and Mitch discover that Cort is suffering from an eye disease, which if left untreated he may lose his eyesight.

Summer's old flame Jimmy Slade returns after months of travelling as a professional surfer. And he is heartbroken to see Summer with Matt and decides to get back her love and affection. But the tension escalates when Matt stands in the way of Jimmy from reaching Summer.

Mitch is taken hostage by an escaped convicts wife to perform first aid procedure to get a bullet out of the convict's body. The convict was shot by the police officers while escaping from the prison.

Mitch somehow manages to get the bullet out of the convicts body unaware of their plan to kill him immediately after the medical procedure.

Mitch is thrown into emotional trauma when he is unable to save one among the two little boys from drowning.

Mitch's spiritual guru Destiny develops a crush on him after he saves her from drowning. And both of them come together to train for the annual Ironman competition which is to be held in California.

Stephanie falls head over heels for Carlos the new lifeguard who strives to save his sister from a gang of hooligans whom Mitch and his team try to get rid off from the beach.

Mitch with the help of his friend Mary Lou Retton an olympian holds a Special Olympics for mentally disabled. And she urges him to wing a mentally disabled teen to support him.

Matt is left surprised when his ex-girlfriend, Jesse pays an unexpected visit regarding an advertisement shoot. Their cheerful reunion slowly brings the true picture to Matt when he realises that Jessey is under a constant threat by her shoot director!

Red knights, the original Baywatch lifeguards are cheerfully awaited as Mitch and his team host a reunion party. However, the exception in the guest list is captain Ben Edwards who had to quit due to an accident.

A weekend vacation for the coastguards brings unexpected developments in their lives when Summer gets haunted by a lover-ghost and C.J finds a friend in a water park!

Summer continues to be haunted by the suicidal jumper, Rupert Mansfield which reenacts the tragedy drove him to suicide years ago. Meanwhile, Mitch and Buzz end up getting stranded in the middle of the ocean, waiting for the rescue!
