After learning what happened, Yang Soon yells at Na Hee with tears in her eyes. Na Hee slaps Yang Soon’s face.

Yang Soon prepares to go back to her hometown. Na Hee doesn’t like Ki Tae’s attitude toward her.

Ki Tae meets Yang Soon again after a year. Na Hee comes back to Korea after finishing her studies abroad.

Ki Tae and Jung Im’s houses are sequestered. Na Hee and Young Chan betray Ki Tae and side with Jun Tae.

Ki Tae comes to Seok Gu’s house, where Yang Soon is staying, after becoming broke. Jung Im is cold to Jun Tae.

Ki Tae gets furious and stops Yang Soon at a bus stop after finding out she rented a house for him.

After coming back from the company, Ki Tae gets cooped up in his room and doesn’t come out.

Ki Tae makes moves to revive the Empress brand. Jung Im gives her blessing to Jun Tae and Na Hee’s marriage.

Yang Soon learns that Ki Tae is actually trying to save Empress, so she shows her support for him.

Ki Tae still pretends he has changed his mind and follows Jun Tae’s order to kick Soo Bong out of the company.

Just when Ki Tae is trying to get back at Jun Tae, Ki Tae finds out Yang Soon has disappeared.

Ki Tae and his team need to produce results to keep their Empress product line, but Jun Tae sabotages them.

Na Hee confesses to Ki Tae that she killed Yang Soon’s grandmother. Then, Yang Soon notices them talking.
