Certifiable

In the premiere we introduce Lex and Gabby, two high maintenance actresses in their dressing room with Lex's boyfriend Nanner, and their talent manager Stacey.  They talk about basic celebrity woes, social media posts, paparazzi, and duck face. A few visitors pop by, Dick, a prospective assistant to Stacey and the girls assistant Olivia, soon it becomes clear that things are not as they seem.

Stacey has gone missing, Lex and Gabby don't know who took her or why, they decide they need to hold auditions for a new manager. Dick stops by with an interesting revelation, but Lex doesn't trust him. Olivia learns that Stacey's been "transferred" but why? Poostein does not appreciate Olivia's inquisitions. Olivia runs into an old coworker Fernando and they catch up.

Lex and Gabby are prepping for the big auditions. Gabby reveals she has never been in love and has a crush on Fernando. Poostein receives a visitor who has a lot more control over her than you would expect. Shelly raises the question of who took Stacey to Fernando, which makes him nervous. Poostien under pressure, brings in an outside source to execute the next phase of her plan.

Olivia is concerned about the chaos the auditions are causing, she raises her concerns to Poostein who is only interested in Fernando. Gabby has a chance to ask Fernando out but her plans are foiled by Lex and Nanner. Fernando nervously visits Poostein who forces him to do something he's not comfortable with. Lex gets a peak at a paparazzi, she freaks and confides in Nanner.

The manager auditions begin, and Dick is first. Fernando has gone to see the Poostein who clearly has a thing for him. He's uncomfortable and just wants to get away from her, she has requested that he handle a special assignment. Outside of the audition room the patients continue to run a muck and inside the audition room Lex and Gabby realize that something is off with this group.

The auditions continue every person who auditions does something insane, Lex and Gabby grow more concerned that they will never find a new manager, they question where Olivia found these people. Fernando brings in a new patient who wants to audition, Remy, but is she too normal?

Remy performs a monologue that impresses Lex, Gabby and Nanner and they give Dick and Remy a trial run for manager. The group plays an intense card game, when Lex questions whether Remy is cheating. Remy insists that Lex is being paranoid, the mere mention of this pushes Lex over the edge, and she kicks Remy out of the room. Poostein is unhappy with Remy's failure and there will be consequences.

Lex tells the story of her and the paparazzi, flashback to when Lex was "Alex" and she was struggling to book an acting gig. Her agent suggests she go on this one more audition with a new image. Lex nails the audition, lies to the director about identifying as both hipster and vegan. "Groceries" becomes a huge success and Lex is a star, until one day, it all comes crashing down.

The Professor stops by to see Poostein, the threats between the two escalate, it's revealed that they are related. Olivia notices a strange man standing outside of Poostien's office, she questions him. Fernie stops by to see Gabby who asks him out, he declines. Gabby explains what happened with Fernie to Lex who vows to get to the bottom of it for her. Remy wakes up in solitary confinement.
