Gone But Not Forgotten

When an Oregon woman vanishes, a black rose and a cryptic message that reads "gone but not forgotten" remains. Even more strange is that the disappearance and note echo a string of murders committed years ago in New York. Now, a man stands accused; a private eye has gone missing; a detective knows more than she lets on and a tough attorney has now entered a web of duplicity, revenge and murder.

As new evidence arises, Martin tells Betsy that he's being framed, but she wonders if that's true. Alan warns her not to become involved any further, pleading with her to drop Martin as a client or she may end up regretting it for the rest of her life.
