12 pairs of overweight people each throw down $10,000 of their own money in a no-holes-barred weight loss competition. The pair that sheds the most weight combined walks away with the $100,000 pot.

Teams begin plotting and scheming to control the vote, but a budding romance might turn it all upside down.

Several teams feel personally betrayed by last week's vote, which leads to an alliance ("The Orphanage"). Abuse of power leads to a counter alliance ("The Family") whose objective is to send every Orphan packing!

Tempers flare and with $10,000 of their own money at stake, a fight breaks out between the two strongest teams.

The 8 remaining teams hit the half-way point in the competition. Some are getting a little too comfortable, relying more on alliances instead of weight.
