Nine men set out to recreate the 4000 mile journey of Captain Bligh in a tiny wooden boat after the legendary mutiny on the Bounty. Anthony Middleton steps into Bligh's shoes, but can today's men match up to the achievements of their predecessors?

The men set out to explore a tropical island and hunt for vital food and water. But the pressures of hunger and the intensity of life on such a small boat start to set in, and a mutiny threatens to break out on the boat.

Tensions rise as the remaining men embark upon a 1600-mile passage through the treacherous Coral Sea. Trapped together, with rotting food and a nasty case of cabin fever, will their hunger and frustration finally conquer them?

After two weeks with no sight of land, the remaining men must find a way through the Great Barrier Reef. If they get it wrong, the coral could rip the bottom off their tiny wooden boat. But, after 2 weeks, land is finally sighted.

The final leg of the journey isn't plain sailing. The men face their most desperate challenge yet: life-threatening dehydration, as the finish line appears to be exasperatingly out of reach...Will they all make it to Bligh's final destination?
