Jim "Lucky" Moore, an insurance salesman, comes up with a "love insurance policy" for his friend, Steve Harper, that will pay out $1 million if Steve does not marry his fiancée. The policy is underwritten by a nightclub owner, who sends two enforcers to ensure the wedding occurs as planned. But when everyone travels to San Marcos for the wedding, complications arise.
