Popeye

Popeye is abducted by the crew of a Martian space ship and taken to their planet for experiments. He barely survives all kinds of incredible tests and is saved in the nick of time by a gulp of spinach.

Bluto and Popeye are granted shore leave and rush to Olive's house. She refuses until they each get a shave and haircut so it's off to the barber shop. Finding the barber out, they decide to shave each other but Popeye is double-crossed.

Olive is baking a cake when her faucet starts leaking. Bluto and Popeye arrive and both try to fix it. Popeye succeeds so a jealous Bluto starts a series of leaks to flood the house. All seems lost but spinach comes to Popeye's rescue once more.

Various Hollywood types give Popeye an Anniversary dinner to celebrate his 20 years of eating spinach. He entertains them with some home movies showing himself in his choicest escapades.

Cab drivers Popeye and Bluto are constantly trying to outdo each other to obtain a fare. When their lady love Olive hails a cab, the battle is on, and the hapless Olive is caught in the middle with comical results.

The night before her wedding to Popeye, Olive dreams she's already married and has twin baby boys. The babies turn out to be wild, mischievous little guys who give Olive an exhausting run-around.

Popeye tries to educate his nephews about the advantages of eating spinach by reciting tales from Greek mythology. He tells of Hercules eating garlic for strength until knocked into a spinach patch by bully Bluto.

Olive Oyl gets frightened from reading Halloween ghost stories to Bluto and Popeye. Popeye tries to reassure her but the jealous Bluto decides to scare her and prove Popeye wrong. Popeye defeats the ghost and wins Olive again.

Popeye, in Sherlock Holmes regalia, is called to Olive's house to protect her diamond. When the butler steals it under Popeye's nose, our hero goes racing around the world & back again to find it and the crime is solved.

Popeye goes into hysterics when an innocent-looking gopher ruins his spinach garden.

It is April Fool's Day and Olive goes on a picnic with Bluto and Popeye. The hapless Popeye winds up the butt of all types of practical jokes played on him by Bluto, and Olive is in hysterics.

Olive Oyl's would-be suitors, Popeye and Bluto, try to win her by amusing the baby she's minding.
