John Baxter, now working as a tour guide, meets the beautiful Miriam, a woman who has somehow lost her memory. After becoming her friend and protector, he becomes involved in a series of attacks on the woman's life. Miriam is the only witness to the criminal activities of a Dutch engineer, Van Daalem.
