Host and comedian Reno Collier welcomes 10 of the world's best anglers to the competition. They quickly realize this competition will push them beyond their limits and test the boundaries of their fishing expertise.

The nine remaining anglers arrive at the ocean for their next set of fishing challenges, and the group's dynamics are shaken by a huge surprise. The elimination comes down to a photo finish and leads to a heartbreaking goodbye.

Eight anglers head to the mountains to do battle in a freezing cold river, and an epic showdown fueled by Mother Nature's wrath pushes one competitor past their physical limits.

The competition challenges the remaining anglers to go beyond what they thought they knew as fisherman. The group is forced to adapt quickly and tempers flare when a territory dispute affects the outcome of one of the challenges.

Casting against the clock, six competitors race to quickly hit 10 targets. In the team challenge, contestants struggle to score fish on giant, floating squares. Desperate to stay, three anglers must master remote controlled boats to avoid elimination.

Tactfully reversing trucks with boat trailers, the final five fight to be first. Contestants claw catfish from a giant tank in the team challenge. After failing to secure the needed number, three must walk on water or be knocked out forever.

Pushing their bodies to the brink, the competitors reel weights out of the ocean. In the team challenge, one group flourishes while the other flops. In elimination, anglers must race against the clock or risk having their dreams dashed.

A tree top challenge places contestants above the water, rushing to hook, reel and net a fish from the air. The final pair embarks on a head-to-head high seas showdown. Only one will walk away with the grand prize and the title of Top Hooker.
