After being expelled from her fifth school, 15-year-old Wednesday Addams is sent by Gomez and Morticia to their alma mater Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for Outcasts.

In the crosshairs of Sheriff Galpin and Principal Weems, Wednesday's investigation into the murder of a fellow student leads to the discovery of a secret student society. And Wednesday is also recruited by Enid to compete in the annual Poe Cup.

Wednesday reluctantly participates in Nevermore's annual “Outreach Day” which is designed to foster friendship between the town and the school. There she learns about her ancestor, Goody Addams, and the town’s Pilgrim founder, Joseph Crackstone.

Wednesday has to confront an even more abject terror than the mysterious Monster….asking a date to Nevermore’s annual dance, “The Rave’N.” Meanwhile, in an attempt to make Ajax jealous, Enid invites a townie boy….but her plan backfires big time.

Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley visit Nevermore for Parents’ Weekend. Their arrival motivates Wednesday to finally uncover the true story behind Gomez’s arrest decades before. Meanwhile Enid deals with her own mother's unrealistic expectations.

After absolutely refusing to allow her friends to celebrate her birthday, Wednesday unwittingly draws them all into a dangerous hunt for clues. Meanwhile Tyler and Xavier both wonder if Wednesday’s intentions are real, or if she’s just using them.

Wednesday is paid a surprise visit by her Uncle Fester who offers valuable insight into the Monster and the state of Wednesday’s tangled Nevermore life. But as Wednesday makes strides in her investigation, it comes at the cost of her friendships.

After a plan to expose the Monster fails, Wednesday is expelled from Nevermore and her actions put her life in danger. Together with Wednesday, the students must tap their superhuman abilities to defeat a powerful threat and save Nevermore.
