It's Good Friday. In Mariotto, a small town in Puglia, the Via Crucis is about to begin but the interpreter of Jesus sits on the crown of thorns. It is the beginning of the ordeal. The lighting technician, Jusuf, replaces him in the role of Christ but he is a Muslim. The news goes around the world, creating a pandemonium among the inhabitants of Mariotto. Who will restore the peace?
