Season 5 brings with it another batch of unique locations, all in the name of discovery and preservation. Some interesting demonstrations this season include the crafting of a bone comb, the casting of a pewter bowl, and smelting copper from local ore. This season also features a number of experts and historians from around the world, to help the Time Team fully understand these ancient places.

There they find 14th century buildings and a manor house, and a pristine spindle whorl. Then they try their hand at fishing and cooking their catch. We also follow historians Robin Bush and Dawn Hadley as they research and create a timeline for the village.
