News breaks out that Hee Ju is suffering from vocal nodules. And Gyu Won allows Hee Ju to stand on stage as she sings from back of the stage.

Before playing at a gugak competition, Gyu Won decides to pursue her dreams, not her grandfather's who is adamant that she practices the gayageum.

When Gyu Won tries to reject an offer to start a bright career because of him, Shin breaks up with her.
