Race Across The World

Five pairs set off on a race to Singapore without taking a single flight. Setting off from London, they leave behind their smartphones and credit cards. The first of five checkpoints is the ancient city of Delphi in Greece.

The five teams head to their next checkpoint in Baku, Azerbaijan, leaving behind the familiarity of the west to travel 2,000 miles across the lengths of Turkey and Georgia. The team arriving last into Baku will be eliminated from the competition.

As five teams become four, they are more focused than ever on reaching Singapore. They journey across the deserts, mountains and Silk Road cities of Central Asia to the ancient capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.

The four remaining teams enter the People's Republic of China, the ancient village of Huangyao. After nearly a month on the road together, budgets are running low and emotions are high.

In the penultimate leg of their journey, the remaining four teams head through the dense forests and bustling metropolises of Cambodia and Vietnam to the island paradise of Koh Rong.

After 12,000 miles, two continents, 21 countries and four seas, the finish line is in sight as the four teams complete the final leg of the race to Singapore.
