Muei-ly is an average looking thirty-year old woman confronting the societal pressures that Asians typically face being single at her age. To make things worse even her friend, considered as the ugly duckling of the group, manages to get hitched. It isn’t until Muei-ly pleads to heavens to send her someone special immediately that her life-long unlucky streak seems to start to turn around.
