Varun (Vijay Devarakonda) is forced to become the CM of Tamil Nadu when his father (Nasser) is imprisoned and loses his CM chair. He is an easy going youth who stays the same even after becoming the CM until he realizes his responsibilities and power and decides to change the society and politics with the support of his advisor Mahendran (Sathyaraj).
