Christmas Day. A Portuguese family gathers together while a radio broadcast evokes the political unrest of 1980s Portugal. Amidst a huge Nativity Scene, pendulum clocks and wicker chairs, children play as the camera takes inventory of all the Christmas trinkets, baubles and presents.
