After Rachel's father, Trigon, has turned Dick dark, he sets out to get the others on his side by embracing their inner darkness. With everyone under Trigon's control, Rachel and Gar fight a seemingly hopeless battle.

Three months after encountering Trigon, Dick is hard at work training Rachel, Gar and Jason in Titans Tower. The rest of the heroes attempt the next phase of their lives as Hank and Dawn retreat to Wyoming, and a mysterious young runaway appears.

With the re-emergence of Dr. Light, the old Titans reluctantly return to Titans Tower to strategize against their old enemy. Still, the secrets of the Titans' past threaten to tear the newly formed team apart.

Tensions are running high at Titans Tower following their most recent encounter with Deathstroke. Kory tries to learn more about Conner Kent, Rose tries to help Jason cope with his near-death experience.

Dick finally reveals the truth to the team as flashbacks show the secret behind Deathstroke's vendetta against the Titans. Dick, Donna, Dawn and Hank befriend Jericho Wilson, Deathstroke's son, and Dick must choose between loyalty and revenge.

In the aftermath of Dick's confession, the Titans' world is rocked to the core, and Dick's fear that his secret would break the group up comes true. The heroes abandon Titans Tower and go their separate ways. Faddel has returned with bad news.

After his intentional attack on two police officers results in his arrest, Dick finally finds peace in a Nevada prison. Rachel befriends a runaway girl and takes her under her wing, as Gar is reunited with Conner and Krypto at Titans Tower.

With Dick still in prison and Gar under the microscope at Cadmus, the remaining Titans are called together to save their teammates.

Hank finds himself at a new low.

The Titans battle Deathstroke and try to rescue Gar and Conner from Cadmus.
