Beck

The charred remains of a woman are found, and it turns out she was wanted internationally as a member of a group of militant eco-activists. Martin Beck is ordered to arrest Gunvald as a suspect, and his loyalty to his colleague is now put to the test. Beck then finds out that the eco-activists are planning an attack in Sweden and he must find a way to foil their plans and prevent a cataclysm.

A wooden box is discovered buried at a playground, and inside is the body of a well know prosecutor. To their horror, Beck and his team realise that the victim was buried alive. As they search for suspects, more wooden boxes are discovered around Stockholm. Beck realises that they are up against a sadistic serial killer who is playing a game with them and who always seems to be one step ahead.
