Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood (ASL)

Daniel visits Dr. Plat, his new dentist. A little nervous at first, Daniel talks about what happens at the dentist, and this helps him feel better! And watch as Daniel gets his first haircut with Nana Platypus.

The Tiger Family goes to the restaurant for taco night with Jodi and Dr. Plat. Daniel and Jodi find out that there are times to be silly and times to be calm. Then, Music Man Stan comes to school for a special musical story with the class!

Daniel is so excited for the Spring Sing at school, but when he arrives, he discovers that Teacher Harriet is not there to teach the routine to the students. The class meets a substitute teacher named Mr. Malik. Daniel is hesitant at first, but learns that different can be fun, too.

Daniel meets a new friend, Max, who is autistic. Daniel learns what he can do when Max needs more time to get comfortable and more space to play in his own way. Then, Daniel is at Chime Time with his new friend, Max. When Max is overwhelmed by the bright lights and loud sounds, Daniel and his friends learn what they can do to help make a calmer Chime Time so Max can play, too.

A new family is moving into the Neighborhood, and Daniel wonders if there will be a new friend for him. The Tiger Family welcomes the neighbors and helps them adjust to their surroundings so their new place feels like home!

When Daniel is feeling a little nervous for his first trip to the hospital, Mom and Dad Tiger prepare him for his new experience. After he arrives, Daniel meets a doctor and nurse who put him at ease and help him get better.

Daniel takes his first train ride to visit Juan Carlos and his family in another neighborhood! When he and Mom Tiger arrive, Daniel is disappointed that his gift for Juan Carlos is broken, but no matter what, they are happy to be together.

Daniel is unsure about his new babysitter, but he gives it some time and has a tigertastic day. Then, Daniel and O the Owl sleep over at Katerina’s. O feels uncomfortable at first, but gives it some time and decides to stay.

With help from her mom and Dr. Anna, Miss Elaina makes bandages that look like her skin color. Then, with help from the grown-ups, Chrissie and her friends build a ramp so that Chrissie can climb to the top of the slide, too!

Dr. Anna and Baker Aker are getting married, and the whole Neighborhood is helping them celebrate! Daniel has an important job as the ring bearer and learns there are many ways to say “I love you.”
