Pelin lives in Istanbul. She is the 26-year-old daughter of a middle-class family. She is a saleswoman in a luxury department store. At one point she wants to live the rich man's life. She begins to consume a lot, expensive clothes, etc., and finds these luxuries more and more attractive. Fashion magazines, various diets and shopping sites dominate Pelin's life.
