Bear Whisperer

This documentary follows professional bear-wrangler, Steve Searles over the course of several months as he uses non-lethal means to ensure that humans and bears can coexist. Whether it's a dumpster-diving cub or a home-invading adult, the Bear Whisperer will be there to answer every panicked call.

In a resort town where tourists and bears collide, it's up to the Bear Whisperer to keep the peace. On this episode, the biggest of the black bears are rumbling into town. These big bears are non-stop eating machines who command the best habitats, the best feeding areas, and the respect of lesser bears, but even they must respect the one man in town who stands up to them: the Bear Whisperer.

On this episode, three young bears show up in the town of Mammoth Lakes. The bears are the pre-teens of the bear world and they're on their own without their mothers for the first time. It's up to Bear Whisperer Steve Searles to teach these clueless young bears how to stay out of trouble until it's time to return to their dens for winter hibernation. Steve's got his hands full.
