Patty Walker is stranded on the roadside after falling suddenly ill and is rescued by Jack Madison. As news of a deadly pandemic spreads through Bay City, Sara Garrett's reunion with her twin granddaughters is cut short. At the hospital, Pete and Lex investigate the Adam Kenway impostor while Vivian arrives to offer her help.

Lianna moves into a new home and has a hostile run-in with her neighbor. At the hospital, the fake Adam Kenway's condition takes a turn that sends shockwaves through the Garrett family.

Sara and John Blackwell exchange critical data. Leaving the hospital, R.J. is subjected to horrific discrimination and civil rights violations by a rogue Bay City police officer. Covid-19 pushes the hospital to maximum capacity.

Pete discovers one of his accounts has been hacked for a massive sum of money. Damian returns to the Blackwell home, and Lianna accidentally crosses paths with the real, evil Adam Kenway, mistaking him for Pete.

A peaceful protest in Bay City turns violent due to a rogue police officer, putting a pregnant Vivian in extreme danger. R.J. is arrested without cause, while Xander, Frankie, and Regan catch the injustice on video.

Orchid finds herself in hot water with Steve in Istanbul. Meanwhile, Dr Abraham informs Sofia and Riley in Bay City about Jack's worsening condition. R.J. and Avery have a passionate exchange about police brutality and racial injustice.

It's New Year's Eve, and Sara feels the love from Lex. The big day has finally arrived for Daniel and Caleb. Elsewhere, Adam has re-emerged with a sinister plan.

The Garretts get a special message from Steve Jensen, Lianna receives unexpected news, Daniel and Celeb get married, Lex and Sara get romantic, and Adam's diabolical plan is set in motion.
