Alice in Wonderland

A little girl sits dreaming by the river bank - and sees a White Rabbit complete with watch and chain, go hurrying by. She follows it down a rabbit hole and falls straight into Wonderland, where she has a series of strange and wonderful adventures, beginning with some very disconcerting changes in size.

Alice meets the White Rabbit again, and he sends her to his house to fetch his gloves and fan. More disconcerting changes of size! Alice sings to herself and wonders what to do. Later she encounters a Caterpillar; then finds the Duchess's house, and meets the Cheshire cat.

Alice continues her adventures in Wonderland. She goes to the Mad Hatter's tea party, plays Croquet with the Queen of Hearts, and meets the Gryphon.

Alice is on the sea shore with Gryphon and the Mock Turtle - they sing and dance. Finally Alice attends the trial of the Knave of Hearts where she realizes that those who bully and oppress her are 'nothing but a pack of cards'.
