As Robin goes undercover, Barclay finds himself at risk, and Strike is pulled into Charlotte's messy divorce.

Strike and Robin eliminate several suspects after making a major breakthrough. Meanwhile, Robin celebrates the high of moving into her new flat - and the low of her cover being blown. Later, Anomie strikes again.
