A documentary film about 4 independent musical groups from Russia and Japan; "Caprice", "EXIAS-J","Moon Far Away" and "Jack Or Jive".The film is made from 3 parts.Part1:Calls from the Past develops mainly in Moscow, tells about the creative collaboration of the author and "Caprice". Part 2:Now and Here is shot mainly in Tokyo, depicting experimental music of Improvisors who are also members of "Exias-J". Part 3: Music and Visions is about "Moon Far Away" and "Jack Or Jive". The film is made in 2002 in road movie style. Selected as a finalist in ZOIE filmfestival in 2003.
