Bookworm Saku Oyagi is starting high school alongside his old friend Mihoshi Akeno, but they haven't seen each other since an accident years ago.

Mihoshi and the astronomy club are boosting their membership drive, much to the annoyance of Hime Makita, who would rather be alone with Saku..

Saku takes a break from the club (and Mihoshi), to escape for awhile. Meanwhile, the start of the rainy season has Mihoshi slightly depressed...

At stargazing camp, Hime and the others find the literature club staying in a resort, while the astronomy club is left with a dump.

When three different guys try to hit on Hime, Saku gets involved ... and hard! Later, he invites the literature club out for a night of stargazing.

Saku and his classmates meet their new teacher, Nozomu Soma ... and Mihoshi seems to know him. Soon after, Soma becomes the astronomy club's adviser.

Saku ends up helping the literature club, the astronomy club has their hands full with the planetarium, and rumors swirl about Mihoshi and Soma.

The cultural festival is underway, but the planetarium is empty. Later, the astronomy club gets an invitation to the Autumn Stargazing Conference!

It's the Autumn Stargazing Conference, and Mihoshi and the other members are super excited. Their purpose: to measure the brightness of the night sky.

Saku, Hime and Edogawa secretly follow Mihoshi and Soma all over town on what looks like a date-but looks can be deceiving...

Saku's astronomy club is at a stargazing camp, and after Hime goes out during a blizzard ... she is quickly lost in the storm.

It's the season finale, and the astronomy club members spend their final night in the mountains stargazing. You won't believe what they spot!
