With base camp set up and the cold setting in, Chris and Casey must find food…fast. Their energy levels are depleting as they begin their hunt for moose. As time ticks on, the brothers must think on their feet to find food…or risk going hungry.

Saskatchewan’s bitter cold and unforgiving wind makes for brutal days and nights for Chris and Casey. A rainstorm adds more difficulty and discomfort. Mentally drained and hungry, the brothers must try new tactics to find food and warmth.

The lack of hunting opportunities have drained Chris and Casey’s patience. Arguments ensue when they disagree over staying put, or portaging to a new lake. Signs of a bear remind the brothers that they must remain focused in order to stay alive.

Symptoms of starvation have set in for Chris and Casey, who haven’t eaten in days. When they cross paths with a grouse, the unexpected happens. Frustration peaks as the temperatures drop. The brothers set up a new camp, but will it help the hunt?

With still no big game in sight, Chris and Casey are forced to rely on fishing for food. The cold temperatures have slowed down the fish, creating challenges. When Mother Nature brings a brutal snow storm, the brothers are tested like never before.
