When Dr. Benson's experiments on suspended animation result in a man's death, he flees San Francisco. He boards a luxury liner for New Zealand, but a shipwreck leaves him and a few survivors stranded on a remote island. Initially hostile, the islanders idolize the doctor when he revives the chief's comatose wife. Now, with his ego unchecked, Dr. Benson unleashes his sinister master plan.
