The regulars are back to escape their troubles. Amanda is struggling to keep her small film company alive and Weyse is suffering from stage fright.

Leslie suggests a secret meeting with Nana. Weyse asks a psychologist for help. Ditmar and Philip visit Amanda, carrying some bad news. Mrs Andersen returns from England with a surprising message for Edith.

News of Mrs Fjeldsø's relative reaches the small hotel, where Madsen has booked a meeting with a German army official to help him win over the authorities. Amanda receives comfort from an unexpected direction.

Madsen is close to getting his building permit, but his youngest daughter risks upsetting the deal. Amanda wonders whether she is willing to put her company's future at stake and take on a big tourist film.
