The First African Baptist Church enlists the help of Jim and Catherine for a newly-designed sound booth. While the existing one is sturdy, it's an eyesore and doesn't match up with the history and architecture of the 150-year-old church. The team has plans to transform the booth into a functional yet cohesive space, all within 48 hours!

The Powerhouse of Deliverance Church has a trailer that is currently being used for the youth community, but it desperately needs to be revamped. The Bishop's old office will become the new bridal room, and the existing bridal room will be expanded into the Bishop's new office and adjoining waiting room. The First Congregational Church United of Christ has a kitchen that needs renovating in order to continue feeding seniors and homeless people. Not only that, but the church restrooms need updating as well. Backed by a small yet mighty team of volunteers, Catherine and Jim have plans to install new industrial appliances, fresh paint, and a new backsplash to make this kitchen a standout.
16. St. Augustine Catholic Church
The St. Augustine Catholic Church has an impressive collection of historical documents and artifacts, but no dedicated place to put them in. Along with a team of volunteers and experts, Jim and Catherine will convert the church's former stable into an archive to house and display their collection. Everything will be built up to archival standards, but they may be cutting it too close on time.
17. Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church
The Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church congregation would like to build a communal adoration room. The storage room behind the sanctuary is the perfect place for it, but it's in rough shape. With some creative ideas and touch up restoration work, the team will bring old and new elements together to create a stunning and serene atmosphere for prayer and quiet reflection.
18. Christian Unity Baptist Church
The Christian Unity Baptist Church needs a multipurpose room for both administrative and congregational use. Jim and Catherine suggest taking the current cramped office space and turning it into a larger office. There's room for a central meeting area as well as a small bridal and baptismal preparation room, but will a change in plans force them to abandon the much-needed changing room?
19. Greater King David Baptist Church
The Greater King David Baptist Church has over 2,000 members, and it's gotten to the point where they're unable to fit everyone the sanctuary. To remedy that, the team will take the existing daycare room and double it as an overflow room for Sunday service. With a new video system, furniture, curtains, and toys, this room will conveniently serve both the congregation and the children.
20. Sending Out the Word Ministries
Sending Out the Word Ministries Fellowship Church needs a multifunctional youth center to hold meetings and allow after-school media access for the local kids. Housed in a suburban bungalow, the only available room the church has is the garage. Jim and Catherine will help convert it into the space they need by taking away the garage door and completely renovating the inside.
21. East Preston United Baptist Church
The East Preston United Baptist Church had plans to restore the Sunday school classrooms in the basement, but due to flood damage, it's out of the team's expertise and time constraint. Instead, Catherine and Jim will renovate the pastor's former residence by renovating two community spaces: the shared computer center and meeting room upstairs, and the youth center downstairs.
22. Cornwallis Street Baptist Church
The Cornwallis Street Baptist Church is hoping to convert their dingy-looking basement into a colorful and welcoming youth community center. With plans to add a lounge area on one side and a pulpit on the other end, it seems like an easy renovation. However, the team runs into several obstacles and time is ticking to get everything done in 48 hours.
23. Light and Life Ministries
Light and Life Ministries wants to build a proper food bank. Housed in the unlikely location of a former auto body repair shop, this church has already gone through prior renovations, but Jim and Catherine are here to help with the next project. They'll take the existing kitchen and reconfigure the space, add new paint and appliances, and increase storage space-all within 48 hours.
24. Grant AME Church
The Grant AME Church has a cramped space for its growing choir members that they're looking to expand. Along with several church volunteers, Catherine and Jim have plans to rebuild the choir area to give everyone more room. They'll build platforms for the larger instruments to reconfigure the space, and recycle materials to give everything a cohesive look.
