Gon, Killua and Kite track down the Chimera Ant queen in a nation called NGL.

Gon and his new friends suspect the Chimera Ant is in the NGL.

Pokkle and Ponzu use Ponzu's bees to deliver messages asking the Hunter Association to help eliminate the Chimera Ants.

Gon, Killua and Kite discover the remains of a destroyed village; there, they encounter their first Chimera Ant.

The Chimera Ants become even more aggressive, and the hunters must fight three of them.

Gon and Killua head back to their lodging, exhausted after battling Knuckle.

At long last, the Queen gives birth to the King. The Chimera Ants are cowed by the menancing aura emitted by the King. Pitou, Pouf, and Youpi kneel before the King to greet him, but with that gesture, they have abandoned the Queen.

The Chimera Ant queen dies; the king and his royal guard prepare to make their next sinister move.

The Chimera Ant king topples the country of East Gorteau; Gon ends up on a date with Palm.
