Orpheline tells the story of a woman from childhood to young adulthood as she constantly trying to figure out her identity and achieve personal freedom. At the ages of 6, 13, 20 and 27, the woman known successively as Kiki, Karine, Sandra and Renée must endure ever new blows of fate and finally break free from the shadows of her past to begin a life of her own. But this is not easy.
