Phantom Spirits

This episode introduces Jaz the detective, his grandparents Agatha and Hercules, Lucy the reporter and the three facetious ghosts, amongst others. It also sets the scene for the rest of the series. "The Magic Book" leads us through an investigation that gets more bizarre and mysterious as the plot unfolds. Two children, Camilla and Julian, have disappeared without leaving a trace.

Inspector Doug came to visit Jaz as he was worried about a case he was working on. Old Lewis, a well-known poacher had found strange animal tracks near the Black Chapel, an old church with a sinister reputation.

Two school children, Thomas and Lisa, got lost during a school trip in the forest of Chislet; being scared they found refuge in a strange place: the castle of Count Horloff. Though confident at first, they quickly realized that he was in fact a horrible vampire. When they tried to escape from the room where they were held prisoners, the horrible vampire captured them again.

The arrival of the Zabor circus in town seemed to coincide with an outbreak of burglaries. As the crimes are committed while the victims are at the circus, Jaz and Lucy decide to investigate the connection. He begins to follow this trail and tries to find the mystery behind this possible plot.

A small sailing boat was traversing the lake when the keel suddenly knocked off the head of a gargoyle belonging to a church of sunken village. This released a terrible water monster from an old legend. The Prince Altar was transformed into this monster when he confronted his archenemy, the sorcerer Enirak.

The Count Henry De Borak never forgave his brother Philip for marrying the women he was in love with. So, on his brother's wedding day Henry De Borak made a pact with the devil, to grant him eternal life. He wanted to leave this world and to avenge being robbed of his love by his brother. So in exchange for his soul the devil locks up Henry De Borak in a painting.

Every day at the same time, a train arrive at a station watched over by Mr Jackson. One day he decides to go up in this train. Alarmed, Jaz, Jackson's best friend discover the skeleton of the driver.

Lucie and Jaz visit an African Art exposition. Lucie wants to take a picture of the mask N'Panata Mogo, a sorcerer Banatou. Jaz and Lucie note the disappearance of the mask. This episode drives Ghosts in Africa, to meet Banatou tribe.

A traveller arrives in a inn for one night. The hotelier told him that the room n°13 doesn't exist, but the visitor find it. Scared, he runs in the forest to alert the police, because he just saw very strange phenomenes.

Barsini a famous puppeteer works with Botello, his assistant who uses his puppets to make burglaries. He uses Colombine puppet to enter in a jeweller. Toc-Toc ensorcelled participate to the burglary, but it will be very difficult for him to be obedient.

Jonathan Kaisse an estate agent, and Howard, his collegue use Ghosts to afraid houses's owners, and buy them. Toby, Désastre and Toc-Toc are the victims and must afraid Mr Glenfidish, who has a bigger one.

Agathe is hospitalized because of a bad fall. At his bedside, Hercules and Alice argue as usual. As for Jaz, he can't help but smile at the sight of his two old men bickering like children.

Dracula is getting bored because there is nobody to stay with him. Hyeronimus, his servant, decides to please him and brings his master a creature to get married with. Unfortunately, he kidnaps Alice who, in spite of what she claims, is not a first price in beauty. So, Dracula decides to find a wife by himself.

The three little phantoms are invited to Alice's, Agathe's best friend. It's the first time they are visiting somebody. Knock-knock decides to rearrange a soup Alice was cooking and put different elements inside. But Alice is a witch and powders around are not safe! They are having this soup for soupier. They are immediately thrown into the XVIII the century.

Jaz, Lucy and the phantoms are on holidays in the South of France. While wandering in the mountain, the y meet a lonesome guy who tells Jaz is the savior. Actually the devil is around and Jaz only can struggle against him. Once again, they are all in the middle of a strange enigma.

Once again, Jaz is in the middle of an intrigue mixing a landowner who hears strange noise in his house, a group of dealers who are looking for store young phantoms wanting to save Jaz's life, and an exorcist with uncertain talents.

Jaz is in charge of looking after a rich man visiting the county. A photograph to put on his identity card, so Jaz goes to the photographer. But just after it, Jaz suddenly has a strange behaviour. He becomes violent with people. Lucy is investigating and she finds that the photographer has found a method to control people's brains.

On Chekzebzl night, one tells that the gnome TIRIAS is wandering in the hood looking for some people to throw them in a dwell. On that night, little marry flees from her home and hide herself in the hood. Fortunately, Knock-Knock is used to walking in the hood; he will meet Mary and fall in love with her.

Lucy decides to interview an Egyptology specialist. But she doe's not known that an Egyptian has been looking for her for 1500 years, because he thinks she is the slave who rebelled.

Holidays, at last! Jaz and Lucy are visiting Venice. Pepinetto, Hercule's old friend will be their guide. The latter is in search of an old mask with magic powers. But he is not the only one to look for the mask! Parmegiani and his thug are on their way too.

The Salem witches are back, because of one of Agate's mistake. They are bewitching children in order to keep their youth. And tonight is Halloween. Fortunately, Jaz and his companions are around to avoid them to do so.

What a strange idea to go for a walk in the swamp. Jaz and his friends do not know they are on the black ogre's territory, which is looking for a wife to make the son of the devil.

Hercule is on TV because he wants to win the invention Award for his "machine to get invisible". But some thieves are looking the TV too and realise that this invention could help them for their robberies.

Agatha is very worried. Hercules and Disaster have gone fishing at the big lake. By nightfall, they still have not returned home. Jaz and the little phantoms go out looking for them. Once they get to the lake, they find Hercules' boat. But it is empty. Where have they disappeared? And what is the strange figure rising up out the fog?

The black baron wanted to avenge himself. He wanted to get the devilish ring back which would open Hell's doors. The Hunchbacked had stolen the ring to prevent the world from knowing misery. Someone is knocking at the door that evening. It is Zigtopus, a strange character. He is looking for a shelter. Agate would never let a poor creature outside by this weather.
