The series premiere of this conspiracy thriller set in the New York City-based government intelligence agency American Policy Institute (API), where nothing is what it seems.

Will begins to feel the stress of his new responsibilities, and pays another visit to Ed Bancroft (recurring guest star ROGER ROBINSON), who is able to shed some light on a clue.

Maggie gets a surprise visit from her past, and Katherine agrees to meet her husband's best friend. Meanwhile, Will finds another piece of David's puzzle -- but can he decode it?

Will travels to Washington, D.C. with Spangler (MICHAEL CRISTOFER), leaving his team to make an important decision on their own. Katherine finds a suspicious voicemail.

At API, Will keeps a careful eye on Tanya. Plus, after meeting with her financial advisor, Katherine inquires about an investment her husband left her two days before his death.

A security lockdown is imposed on API by the FBI and everyone must undergo a polygraph test. Will sees something of interest in Spangler's (MICHAEL CRISTOFER) office.

The CIA asks Miles and Tanya to oversee an interrogation.

Feeling unsafe in his apartment, Will reaches out to his neighbor, Andy (ANNIE PARISSE -- Fringe). Katherine learns more information about the photograph she received.

Will and Katherine meet secretly. Meanwhile, the API team continues trying to track down Kateb, and Will discovers he shared a common interest with his late boss, David Hadas.

Will gets a special assignment from Spangler (MICHAEL CRISTOFER). Tanya is asked to rejoin the team to help locate Kateb. A threat leaves Katherine afraid to leave her house.

The API team is forced to work with the FBI to try and locate the man they think is Kateb. Will may be able to figure out the next target destination ... but will it be too late?

In the gripping season finale, the API team tries to find their footing in the aftermath of the explosion in Galveston Bay. Plus, Will confronts Spangler (MICHAEL CRISTOFER).
