Alex and Anna’s house is being renovated, and they have to stay at Alex’s mom’s house for the weekend. Margareta has met a new man, Tord, and Alex has to deal with his mom’s new love in more ways than he expected.

Ove and Anette go away and ask Anna and Alex to look after their parakeet. Fredde buys the most advanced home entertainment system on the market, but it might be too advanced for the Schiller family to handle.

Fredde discovers some weird lumps in a very sensitive part of the body and immediately comes to the conclusion that it's cancer. Alex and Anna bicker about what to do with all the old junk in the basement.

Fredde and Mickan are constantly at each other’s throats and decide to go away on a romantic getaway to revitalise their marriage, but reality proves out to be a little less glamorous than the travel brochures.

Fredde has a personal crisis when Mickan and the kids go away for the weekend. He decides that married life is a burden and tries out the single scene with his young cousin.
