The Mindy Project

Newly engaged Mindy returns from her volunteer mission in Haiti to New York for emergency surgery, only to find a new doctor has taken her place. Meanwhile, Danny and Christina's relationship continues to deteriorate.

As Mindy adjusts to her long-distance relationship with Casey, she also must adjust to the fact that she is no longer the office's "Dr. L" - her office, patients and dignity have been overtaken by Dr. Paul Leotard (guest star James Franco) - so she challenges Paul to get her former life back. Meanwhile, Danny has a new extracurricular activity following his breakup with Christina.

Mindy struggles to cope with Casey's new career choice. While most of the hospital staff attend a music festival, a new doctor comes to the rescue as Jeremy and Tamra struggle to cope with the workload.

According to Morgan, anyone who sleeps with him will find the love of their life immediately afterward. Curious to test this theory, Mindy takes Morgan up on his offer, but backs out at the last minute, humiliating Morgan and prompting him to sue Mindy for sexual harassment. In order to get out of the lawsuit and get back into Morgan's good graces, Mindy makes him an offer he can't refuse.

Mindy is in for a nude awakening. Ben Feldman ("Mad Men") guest-stars.

Mindy's excited to join the guys for a "boy's night out" at MoMA, but quickly realizes she misunderstood their plans...They're not going to the museum, they're going to an MMA fight and Mindy couldn't be further out of her element.

Danny tells Mindy that she's too picky and judgmental of other people. So she makes it her mission to prove him wrong, and goes on a date with her complete opposite: a wild and crazy skateboarder named Graham (guest star Timothy Olyphant). Meanwhile, Jeremy receives a visit from his father (guest star Alan Dale), who seems to prefer Peter (Adam Pally) over his own son.

When Mindy tells Danny she has a crush, he thinks she's talking about him instead of Cliff, the lawyer (guest star Glenn Howerton). Meanwhile, Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) and Peter find Mindy's phone and respond to a text from Cliff, which starts off innocently, but escalates into something that may lead to unintended romantic consequences.

One of Danny's patients is a mommy blogger, so he invites her to write about Schulman & Associates on her website, only to find out that she is actually a white supremacist and paints the practice in a racist light. Desperate to control the situation, the team hires PR guru Priscilla (guest star Jenny Elfman), who begins to give Danny media training but ends up seducing him.

When Mindy's cheating ex-boyfriend Josh (guest star Tommy Dewey) invites her to his wedding, Mindy panics to find a date and begrudgingly decides to take Peter, who is actually a great wedding date until he makes one big mistake. Meanwhile, Danny's kid brother Richie (guest star Max Minghella) is in town to make a big announcement.

Mindy plans an office Christmas party for the entire building, so she can spend more time with Cliff (guest star Glenn Howerton). However, things don't go Mindy's way when Brendan Deslaurier's date (guest star Maria Menounos) steals Mindy's thunder by performing a seductive "Santa Baby" dance for the party guests.

In an attempt to get in shape before a weekend away with Cliff (guest star Glenn Howerton), Mindy convinces Danny to be her personal trainer. Meanwhile at the office, Peter finds himself in over his head when he has to act as managing partner while Jeremy is out sick.

Jeremy sends Mindy, Danny, Peter and Morgan to Los Angeles to receive cosmetic injectables certification. Once they arrive, Peter attempts to track down the object of his affection, Maria Menounos, and Mindy runs into Casey (guest star Anders Holm).

After Cliff breaks up with Mindy for lying about seeing Casey in Los Angeles, Mindy is more determined than ever to win him back. However, instead of taking Mindy to the airport, Danny tricks her into going with him to the desert to see his dad.

Mindy has a run-in with the law when a surly police officer (guest star Tim Daly) admonishes her for giving his young daughter birth control pills. Meanwhile, Danny befriends a rabbi who offers to refer his congregation to Schulman & Associates because he thinks Danny is Jewish.

Danny offers Mindy the opportunity to buy the other condo he owns in his building, but gets jealous when she begins to date Charlie, the police officer (guest star Tim Daly). Meanwhile, Peter dates a brain surgeon (guest star Tracey Wigfield) whom he fears may be too mature for him.

Mindy thinks she's met the man of her dreams after he writes a description of their encounter in a New York newspaper, leading to a surprising reveal.
