Yago Costa is a former police inspector serving time for murdering his partner and best friend in the very interrogation room where they’d solved so many cases. Now, thanks to journalist Sara Sibilio, he can tell the world why he did it.

Despite a death threat, Sara does not hesitate to continue with the investigation. This time, Costa tells her how he solved a case of drug trafficking where judge Lola's Solozabal sister was involved.

Costa tells Sara about when Lola’s car was found in the harbor, submerged under the sea. When they discover a corpse inside the trunk, Costa and Luis will not stop until they find out what happened.

Sara manages to interview Lola, who warns her that Sara’s talks with Costa are ruffling feathers. Despite this, Sara does not abandon the investigation and Costa shares with her the most personal cases of his career.

In the past: some evidence disappears from the station and everything indicates that Luis is responsible. Costa tries to cover for him but things get complicated when one of the most important people in Costa’s life dies.

Costa is under house arrest, but that doesn't stop him from continuing his investigation. He discovers that behind Marga's death lies large-scale political corruption and he won't stop until he uncovers the real culprit.

Lola warns Sara off her investigation, but the journalist is not ready to give up. She wants to know the truth. Costa tells her how Luis was appointed commissioner and didn't have time for Tachenko's case, so Costa had to solve it alone.

The broadcast of Sara's documentary has been cancelled and her life is in danger. Yet with help, she will reveal to the world what she discovered. Meanwhile, Costa has been transferred to the hospital in a critical condition.
