Max is nervous when his girlfriend auditions for the romantic lead opposite a cute boy in the school play, and he convinces Phoebe to audition for the same role. But things go awry when Phoebe proves to be a terrible actress.

Desperate to get their mom's tablet back after it is confiscated at school, Billy and Nora get help from Phoebe, who wants to prove she can be as sneaky as Max.

Despite promising his girlfriend he would stop pranking, Max pulls an epic gag which his friend gets blamed for. As the school's principal moves to expel the boy, Max must fix the situation while still keeping his role a secret.

Hank and Phoebe think the house has been robbed when they return home and discover the furniture missing, but Max admits he hid everything and forces them to earn their belongings back before Barb discovers the truth.

After going back to their elementary school to complete a hero assessment exam, Phoebe & Max realize passing a 5th grade test won't be easy when the instructor is a former classmate that Max tormented when they were younger.

With the Villain League determined to halt Phoebe's superhero ascension and destroy the Thundermans altogether, Max must finally choose between fighting for good with his family, or a life of evil against them.
