George Barnard’s life is turned upside down when she and her cousins embark on a treasure hunt. Soon, they find themselves battling a merciless enemy who wants to change the world.

George and her cousins must escape from a crypt, recover the sword of Sir William Marshal, and work out where the treasure is before the nefarious Wentworth gets his hands on it.

When Uncle Quentin’s life’s work is stolen from Kirrin Cottage, the Famous Five take the night train to Scotland and are drawn into a deadly game of espionage, theft and deceit.

On the night train to Scotland, with time running out, the Famous Five are on their own as they race to recover Quentin’s machine from an unknown thief.

As the summer comes to an end, George sets in motion a final adventure to protect a circus magician from an unscrupulous doctor who wishes to make use of his powers in the clinic.

With George detained in Dr Graves’s hospital, and her cousins helpless, the Famous Five must find a way to save the Great Supremo and protect the Eye of the Sunrise.
