Popeye

While taking Olive Oyl's puppy for a walk, Popeye gets into a fight with Bluto and his bulldog. Popeye and the pup are getting the worst of it until the sailor manages to get hold of a can of spinach.

Popeye is ordered to stop Ali Baba and his 40 thieves from robbing desert villages. Popeye, Wimpy and Olive take off in his plane but crash. When Ali Baba charges into the town, they subdue Popeye and take Olive and Wimpy into the desert.

Bluto tries to steal a parrot which Popeye has given Olive Oyl as a gift. In the chase that follows, the bird gets away. Popeye is subdued, Olive faints six or seven times but everything turns out right in the laugh-filled finale.

Popeye, Bluto, Olive and her Grandma are in a dance contest. Popeye is teamed with Grandma and when she begins to tire he feeds her some of his invigorating spinach.

Olive tries to make a gentleman out of Popeye by taking him to Bluto's school of etiquette. Everything goes fine until Bluto starts wooing Olive and the battle is on.

Enacting the role of a fireman, Popeye answers an alarm at Olive's home and finds her crying because her home has been burned to the ground. Popeye and Wimpy promise to make her a new one and from then on the laughs start building.

Popeye plays sick to win Olive's attention. Doctors fail to locate his illness and Olive believes it's his end. When Popeye sits up in bed and confesses that it was all a gag, Olive pummels him.

Popeye visits Olive Oyl and discovers her home in turmoil because of a broken water pipe. Olive and Popeye are soon surrounded by a series of bursting pipes, although they try every means to stop the flood.

Popeye and the Jeep, his magical pet, visit Olive and learn Swee'Pea has crawled out of his crib and disappeared. Olive is frantic so Popeye tells her the Jeep will use his magical powers to find the missing infant.

Popeye dislikes bullfighting. When Olive makes eyes at him, he finds himself in an arena with a bull. His efforts to convince the bull he won't hurt him are useless and after much punishment he calls on his spinach to subdue the bull.

As Popeye's ship prepares to sail, Olive falls into a trunk and is carried aboard unnoticed. Popeye finds her and, knowing the old-time sailor's superstition that a woman on board is bad luck, tries to hide her.

Popeye sails in search Poopdeck, who has been missing for forty years. He is captured by the natives of Goonland, and disaster seems inevitable when his strength-giving spinach can rolls away from him.
