Set in the late Shang Dynasty, Su Daji is summoned to the royal court and possessed by a nine-tailed fox spirit. As she becomes a tool of corruption and chaos, her childhood friend Bi Yikao tries to save her and the kingdom, leading to a tragic battle between humans and supernatural forces.
