We all have bass fishing stories of great days on the water. Well, this isn’t one of them but G3 Sportsman Scott Turnage and Westin Yancey grind it out with an episode that anyone that fishes can appreciate.

The G3 Sportsman dynamic duo of Scott Turnage and Westin Yancey slip off to their home lake of Table Rock to battle wits with either traditionally catching crappie or to use forward facing sonar.

If you like to catch lots of fish and enjoy a variety of species, Grand Lake in OK is the place according to Jeff Williams of Luck E Strike baits. He invited G3 Sportsman Scott Turnage to join him and prove his claim.

As the crappie meander their way up the rivers from their home waters of the lake to spawn we find G3 Sportsman Scott Turnage and guide Capt Rick LaPoint noticing the sneaky crappie migrating on the bottom and have the perfect bait for them.

Bass tournaments are in full swing and our own Westin Yancey pre-fishes Table Rock Lake and brings G3 Sportsman host Scott Turnage along for the ride.

The white bass spawn can be a blast and the G3 Sportsman crew of Scott Turnage and Westin Yancey jump in the G3 Gator Tough jet to wrangle some big whites despite having camera issues.

Talk about a fun trip. G3 Sportsman Westin Yancey with friend Lance Sitton travel to the famed Tennessee River below Pickwick Dam for some drag pulling action of stripers at the dam and smallmouth below the dam.

The crappie should be in post spawn and pulling crank baits is an effective way to find and catch crappie on Missouri’s Stockton Lake. Its also nice to mark the locations and double back to scope a few later.

Today’s bass fishing has certainly changed with forward facing sonar so, on this G3 Sportsman episode, Scott Turnage and Westin Yancey drift a small river without the use of this new technology and are quite successful.
