Fireman Sam

It's Fire Prevention Day in Pontypandy. Norman accidentally causes a fire in the station kitchen with his paper planes. Steele takes him aside and explains that the first rule of paper planes is to be "careful where you throw them." Steele then shows Norman his skills as a paper plane pilot and Norman finally finds someone who enjoys paper planes as much as him... if not more.

Mike doubts Radar's abilities as a rescue dog. Mandy wants to prove Radar's abilities to her father. Mandy, Norman and Radar go in search of her Dad on his busy day doing odd jobs. Mike has an accident and is trapped in the cellar. Just when Mandy is about to give up and agree with her Dad, Radar finds injured Mike. Mike now has to admit that Radar is a good rescue dog after all.

Trevor, Dilys and Norman go camping on Pontypandy Mountain. Norman tries to scare Dilys with his tales of wild lions and escaped zoo animals. Dilys thinks that an orange glow emitting from the woods is a forest fire. She unwittingly knocks a log from the camp fire causing a real fire to start. Tom arrives in the helicopter to put out the fire and Norman learns it's not so funny to scare people.

Sam and Tom put up warning signs marking the unsafe paths on the cliffs in Pontypandy. Norman and Mandy eagerly go in search of a Golden eagle and ignore the warning signs. Norman and Radar fall and are left stranded. Sam and Tom come to the rescue. Norman learns that he doesn't always know best and that listening to warnings is important... especially when they're from Radar.

Mandy and Norman decide to make a film with Mandy's new camera. Sarah plays the maiden in distress. Charlie races to the rescue as he misinterprets her acting as real cries for help. He gets tangled and left dangling over the side of his boat. Sam and Penny come to the rescue and untangle Charlie. Mandy is thrilled to have finally filmed some actual action and has a special screening.

Norman is going overboard in an attempt to have the best Christmas display in Pontypandy. He piles lights all around the supermarket, and later finds that the electric sockets have been overloaded by the lights and a fire has started! Sam and Elvis quickly put out the fire and explain the dangers of overloading sockets.

Sam promises Elvis that he can operate the 'Jaws of Life' the next time they are needed. Norman, Sarah and James are along the shoreline collecting muscles. Norman gets his foot trapped in some rocks. Sam and Elvis come to the rescue and deduce that if Norman removes his shoe his foot will be freed. Elvis jumps in and finally gets to use the 'Jaws of Life' to save Norman's shoe.

It's a cold day in Pontypandy and The Wholefish Café boiler has stopped working. Sarah takes Woolly's new baby lamb, Lambikins, out for a walk in a stroller. Sarah gets wet from the rain and back at the café she places her sweater over an electric heater to dry out. The sweater starts a fire! While they tackle the fire, Sam heroically enters the Café and finds Lambikins and saves the little lamb!

Both Mike and Norman have washing duties at home. Norman tries to get all of it into one wash. He then runs out to play, leaving the over filled machine which then breaks down. Mike takes his time and teases Norman for his carelessness. But when Mike discovers a fire in his house and realizes he left the iron on, he learns that accidents can happen to everyone if they're not careful.

While walking in the woods Sarah, James and Bronwyn realize that Lion has followed them and is hunting birds. They find a wishing well and throw in coins to make wishes. After Lion does not return home, Sarah goes back to the well, hears a meow and realizes that Lion had fallen in. Sam and team come to the rescue. After which Lion stops chasing birds, making Bronwyn's earlier wish come true.

Nipper the dog is causing mayhem where ever he goes. Bronwyn and Sarah take him for a walk along Pontypandy cliffs, but the chaos continues when Sarah trips and hurts her leg. Tom sets off in the helicopter to find Sarah and her mom. Meanwhile Nipper gets the attention of Nurse Helen Flood, who then helps Sarah. Sarah is air lifted to safety and Nipper is forgiven for his previous exuberance.

The Floods decide to have a fireworks display in their garden. Lion the cat gets scared of the noisy impressions by the kids and runs off. In the search for Lion, Mandy knocks over a firework that starts a fire in the workshop. Sam and the team cannot find Lion anywhere. On the way back, Sam and Elvis find him hiding in the back of Jupiter unharmed and sitting on top of firework safety leaflets.

Penny slips and hurts her ankle during a hike in the mountains with Helen. Penny's flare isn't visible through the fog. Meanwhile, Sam suggests using Radar to find Helen's scent; however forgetful Mike gives them Mandy's dress to smell by mistake. Thankfully, at the last minute, Mike remembers where Helen was headed and they set off with Radar, and the right smell, to rescue them.
