When Jamal's city council oppenent, Blanche Taylor, begins to use dirty tactics, Tasha and Charles help him fight back. Tasha's baby boutique goes national. After Crystal decides to get a tattoo.

Charles encourages Stacy to go out with Dr. Sutton in order to avoid attending cultural events that he hates. Jamal and Tasha jump through hoops to get the twins into a prestigious pre-school.

As Stacy & Kita try to help Crystal "the Diva" plan her faux-wedding to Darkanian, Crystal reveals that she is reconsidering the marriage. Jamal's new campaign manager, Curtis Simmons, aggravates Tasha and Charles.

Stacy tries to convince Charles to join her MMA class that is taught by the buff instructor, Matt. After a losing a debate to Blanche Taylor, Jamal considers dropping out of the election.

As the family and Darkanian shoot Jamal's campaign commercial, Darkanian injures himself, causing his boyfriend Greg to come "out" to the rescue. Stacy and Tasha believe their mother, Jaunita, is having an affair.

As election day approaches, Jamal and Tasha are mortified when Blanche releases an incriminating video of them. Charles' beard has grown to an embarrassing length and Stacy alters her own appearance to convince him to shave.

Much to Charles' dismay, Stacy and Tasha decide to tag along on Charles and Jamal's fishing trip. After Crystal helps Kita write a love letter to Troy, Kita returns the favor by trying to reunite Crystal and Rashad.

Stacy gets caught up in a sting at a massage parlor, and becomes a mentor to women while in jail. When Jamal and Tasha go house hunting the search proves difficult when they disagree.

When Charmaine informs Tasha and Jamal that their new home was the scene of a triple homicide, they move in with Charles and Stacy. Crystal decides to lose her virginity to Rashad. Troy takes Kita on a romantic getaway.

Stacy and Tasha butt heads over their temporary living situation. While stranded on an island, Kita becomes annoyed with Troy's lack of survival skills. Crystal's activism causes her to lose track of her final exams.
