The Syndicate

The once impressive Hazelwood Manor is now crumbling under the weight of £6.5 million in debt. The few remaining staff members play the lottery in hopes of changing their fortunes and are shocked when their small syndicate beats the unlikely odds and wins.

The elation of winning the lottery is short-lived, as Amy has gone missing. The police are called in to investigate and turn their attention to Godfrey, the last person to see her. Lord Hazelwood's health continues to decline, and he worries over the future of the manor.

DI Baker continues her investigation into Amy's disappearance, and a reporter approaches Dawn with shocking information about Sean. Meanwhile, Spencer schemes behind Lord Hazelwood's back to try to sell the house to the Americans.

The police track down Nick and question him about Amy's whereabouts. When Dawn receives a ransom demand from Amy's kidnappers, she hides it from the police, and the syndicate is divided over whether they should pay or not.

Sarah and Sean take their relationship to the next level, but Sarah is haunted by the ghosts of her past romance. The police become suspicious of Andy Stevenson after they find that Nick has been shot.

Nick reveals a key piece of information, and the truth about Amy's disappearance begins to unfold. Lord Hazelwood tries to convince Julie to tell Sarah about her lineage for one last chance at saving Hazelwood Manor.
