Izzy returns to Portland to find that nothing's the same as she left it: Nina and Shaun are at a relationship crossroads, the Amari's have blockbuster news (but they're trying to keep it on the DL), Ben and Lala are springing a big announcement on the 'hood, and "The Throuple Formerly Known as EJI" are headed for a reckoning.

When Lala and Ben unwittingly give everyone Saharan Truth Serum, Emma, Jack and Izzy recall the night of their breakup. But "the truth" seems wildly different in each of their memories.

EJI succumb to The First Stage of Breakup Grief, the dreaded "I Want My Shit Back." However, their anger accidentally reveals how not over the breakup they all are. Emma and Jack spiral into a series of dates with replacement unicorns while Izzy regresses into old ways.

When Izzy finds out Emma and Jack have planned a romantic night at hotel, and Lala and Ben have offered to babysit the twins, she's not mad. Not mad at all. And if you think she's going to drunk text them, you are absolutely f***ing right.

Izzy crashes Emma and Jack's hotel date. Alone at last, EJI can finally drop the masks of indifference and say what's been bubbling up since Izzy made a run for the border six months ago. It's the final stage of Breakup Grief because it's over… right?

After last night, EJI agrees to "take a beat," not make any rash decisions, let the dust settle. But when Nina finds out that Izzy might be putting her life on hold again, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She confronts Emma and Jack to do the right thing and truly "Free Izzy."

Nina comforts Izzy while Emma and Jack get life-altering news from Dave.

Emma and Jack arrive at the wedding with the surprise guest of honor and a wanky plan to get Izzy back. But after a verbal castration and hard no to their apology, you think they'd just pack up and leave? Think again!

Emma and Jack have one last trick up their sleeves to win Izzy back. Time to go big.
