For her birthday, her three closest friends take her on a surprise trip to an abandoned resort in Hawaii - the supposed haunt of an infamous ghost, The Half-Faced Girl. Arriving on the island they find an eerily empty resort, but nothing supernatural. However, just as Lex decides it is only an urban legend, her friends start to disappear.
